Sorry for the short notice, but they will start cleaning gutter tomorrow (Friday 8/22). They were suppose to be cleaned them last week, but it was delayed due to weather conditions.

SOCIAL EVENTS AND HAPPENINGS SEABOARD TOWNSHIP

The Social Committee has been working hard to schedule some fun social events for our community.   We hope you will join us at these upcoming HOA sponsored gatherings.  We also ask for your assistance and input.  Please e-mail seaboardtownship@gmail.com and let us know  how you are able to help.

POOL CLOSING BBQ – August 31st from 11am until 1pm.   Join us for our first social event at the Pool.   HOA will be providing BBQ with hamburgers, chicken fingers, and beverages.   Unfortunately, this event is for residents only.   Rain date September lst.  Please RSVP to seaboardtownship@gmail.com by August 25th.

COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE – Clean out that clutter and make some CASH for the upcoming holidays.   HOA will be placing ads in local publications and placing signage at entrance of subdivision.   Friday and Saturday, September 13th and September 14th from 8am until 1pm.  

HOLIDAY DECORATING – Calling all adults!!!    Join us Saturday, December 7th, time TBA to help decorate entrance for the holiday season.    HOA will provide pizza and soft drinks.  All we need are your helping hands!!

FALL RECIPE 

    
Home Made Chicken Soup
                                                                                                       
Boneless Breast of Chicken – 3-4 pieces                                       
Carrots – 3 large
Celery – 2 stalks
Onions – 1 medium
Egg Noodles cooked according to package – ½ package/box
Chicken Stock – 2 cans
Salt/Pepper

Fill large pot with 2 inches of water.  Place boneless breast in water, bring to boil, lower temperature and simmer for 15 minutes.  During simmer process skim off any excess foam/fat which surfaces during simmering.

While chicken cooks, dice carrots, celery and onions.   Egg Noodles should be cooked according to package directions.

Remove chicken breast from water and pull apart return to water.  Add carrots, celery, onions and 1-2 cans of chicken stock.   Add salt and pepper to taste.   Simmer for additional 20 minutes.  Add cooked/drained noodles for last 5 minutes to heat through.

For adventurous individuals, you may add other spices to your taste, rosemary, parsley, etc.

Soup may be refrigerated for 2 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
